REFLECTION

This garment treats clothing as a single material, and is finished by following the physical characteristics of the material rather than “constructing” a form. Its rounded, stone-like silhouette, which glows in the dark, offers a new perspective on garments. The unpredictable reflections of light that appear as the fabric wraps three-dimensionally around the body are left to the environment and the movement of the wearer. The fabric, made by intertwining wool with reflector material, allows the fine texture of the wool fibers to be felt within the inorganic reflective surface, creating a curious, otherworldly texture.
