REmeTEX DENIM COLOR

“REmeTEX” is an initiative that uses the scraps from the me ISSEY MIYAKE clothes making process as resources to transform into new clothes. Using a technique known as “Hanmou” (recycled wool), the STRETCH PLEATS scraps are converted back into cotton, which is then re-spun into yarn and made into woven fabric. This denim series is available in three colours perfect for spring: White, Pink, and Lavender.

REmeTEX WASHI KNIT

A non-sewn knit top series with a refreshing feel, created by twisting and knitting together Japanese Washi paper and polyester thread recycled from STRETCH PLEATS fabric.

REmeTEX CHECK STOLE

A large checkered stole woven using yarn-dyed, recycled thread and highly twisted cotton. After weaving, the fabric is washed to create a soft texture with an uneven look.

REmeTEX SHEER MERINGUE

A series of tops made from polyester fabric that is knitted from recycled thread and given a crushed finish. It is characterized by its relaxed silhouette and light feel.
